Chase posted the fastest lap of the race, advanced the most positions, and was the mid-race leader.
Then Chase backed up his first win with a dominating performance at the July Pocono event when he qualified 2nd, led the first green flag lap, was the mid-way leader, led the most laps (39 of 80) with up to a 10 sec. lead and posted the fastest lap of the race. Then engine failure with only 8 laps to go and while in the lead, crushed his dominant run. Chase kept digging and salvaged a 5th place finish.
